I had the best time probably ever working on this movie, he is so talented and so young really to be so talented and he's so specific and a perfectionist, which makes my job so much easier because we're not doing 50 takes of every shot, we're not shooting from every angle to the point where I'm losing track of what I'm even supposed to be doing, once he's got it, we move on because he just knows what he wants to do" SP: "I love Ti, he's probably the best director I've ever worked with. RS: What was it like being directed by Ti West? What kind of director was he? You can't be like 'o I'm tired so I'm gonna run like I'm tired' no, every single time you gotta be like, running and scared, and screaming and it really is exhausting" SP: "I think that's one of the hardest things about it, you're doing it over and over and over again and you can't half-ass it, ya know.

There's no proof of any of that stuff existing and yet it's everywhere, people are so curious about it and it's also death, everyone dies but nobody knows what happens for real when you die so people are obsessed with it." SP: "I think it's the unknown, we really don't know. RS: Why do you think people are fascinated by ghosts and demons and paranormal activities? SP: "No, it makes me sad, I really want them to catch a ghost so then I can have proof that there's ghosts." RS: Do you watch those shows with the intention of making fun of them? SP: "I'm so fascinated by it because they never find the ghosts ever, and just so weird, so funny to me, I get scared and I'm like 'they're so close, this is the one, they're going to find the ghost' and they don't." RS: Your character in this film is fascinated with ghosts, do you watch ghost hunters shows on TV? I can't even watch it, I cannot watch it." SP: "I'm a fan but they scare me, I'm a big baby so I don't seek out horror movies because they terrify me, The Exorcist really scared me when I was little, and still like so scared.

RS: Are you a fan of horror? Do you have a favorite horror movie? SP: "The Last House On The Left was like the first, I did it to to just sort of break out of the teen comedy genre, and now all I get offered are horror movies because of that one movie, which is fine, I really actually enjoy working in this genre, so I'm cool with it but I like to do all kinds of things, that's just sort of what's been happening, the last couple of years, that's just what I've been offered."

Why do you keep finding yourself in this genre? RS: You were in The Last House On The Left, and Shark Night 3D and now this and then you're going to be in The Briar Lake Murders. What was fun about this interview is that in the middle of our chat, the sink in Paxton's hotel room suddenly turned on by itself, I don't know if it was all part of the tricks in promotion of this movie but it sure as hell was fun, Paxton seemed to get quite a kick out of it. Special thanks to Magnet Releasing, not too long ago I got to interview the beautiful actress Sara Paxton ( Superhero Movie, The Last House On The Left, Shark Night) about her new horror flick, THE INNKEEPERS (watch the trailer) which is available now on VOD and will hit theaters on February 3rd, 2012
