This guitar is great for younger students, as a travel guitar for pros, or as an alternately tuned stage guitar for creative experimentation. Once in a great while you find one that's too good to sell, like the Yamaha, so you hang onto it but all the others are expendable. Steel-string acoustic-electric features Ovations award winning built-in pickup. I've owned about evey kind of firearms you can name at one time or another, shot it, took it apart to see how it worked, then swapped it off for something new so I can keep learning. That's how you learn about guitars, that's how I learned about firearms. It's fun to buy something, play with it for a while, see what it'll do then sell it and move on to something else. What I'm buying and selling is being made by the Thousands every day in China.

The AA21 is only $139.99 after the MF23 coupon, it's not like I'm buying and selling rare Martins or something.

Right now Applause and Ovation have my attention so I'd like to get another one just to make sure that my little AA13 wasn't a fluke. I'm sure EVERYONE on the forum has sold a guitar to buy another guitar that they wanted at one time or another. Hey, they're only guitars, it's not like I"m looking for a new wife or something.Geez. I'm sure if I had all the cash I wanted I'd have a collect that Eric Clapton would envy but that's not the case so when I want something new I've got to sell something old. My peepee, my soap, I'll wash it as fast as I want too,LOL.

There's just no place for the Regal, it was bought to learn how to play slide but the bug to learn really never took so it's just so much extra baggage that can be sold to reach my other goals.

Right now I'd like a small guitar for travel and to use as a take along guitar, the AA13 fits the bill perfectly, I'd like a full size "beater" that I can use when I need something with more volume, the AA21 should work nicely in that role and I need a "nice" guitar with good tone and volume for special ocasions, the Yamaha is perfect for that. If I want to hunt this coming fall then I'll save up my pennies and find a rifle to use then probably sell if after the season is over. I don't hunt anymore so I don't need a rifle, I don't dove hunt or shoot clays so I don't need a shotgun but I do have a CCW so a small, powerful handgun is needed hence the Taurus 605 snub. You logically ascess your needs and make a choice based on that. No use having something sit around when I can sell it and get something that'll be of use.Īs far as "getting stuck with whatever you have at the moment", that's not how you play the game. I still like my resonator, I just found something else that'll fit the bill better right now.
